The forklift mast is the main vertical assembly responsible for lifting and lowering loads. It includes essential components such as mast bearings, slipper (sliper), slipper shims, mast bushings, lift cylinder seal kits, and lift cylinders (both front and rear types). Additionally, a tilt cylinder is attached to control the forward and backward tilt of the forks. These parts work together to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient lifting and handling of materials.
Mast Bearings
Reduce friction between mast rails for smooth and efficient vertical movement.
Sliper (Slipper)
Guides the mast rails and prevents metal-to-metal contact during lifting.
Slipper Shim
Thin adjustment shims used to maintain proper clearance between mast components.
Mast Bushings
Provide support and reduce wear between moving mast parts.
Lift Cylinder Seal Kit
Contains seals that prevent hydraulic leaks in lift cylinders for reliable lifting.
Lift Cylinder Types
There are two types: Front Lift Cylinder for main lifting and Rear Lift Cylinder for additional support.
Tilt Cylinder
Attached to the mast to control the forward and backward tilt of the forklift forks.
